hmmm. if you ever have a problem with gm u call up there head office and bitch or better yet write a letter to the head office or the owner of the dealership your are speaking of because the owner doesn't really keep track of everything going on yeah know. i wrote a letter when my local dealership fucked me over i got an letter back with sorry's and apparenlty they fired the guy who was feeding me the bullshit becuase i put his name in the letter and they place a date on when i can bring my car in on it lol

Hope everything goes well for you, but just to let you know, the dealer makes plenty of money on warranty work. Usually ABOUT $90/HR on labor and cost plus 40% on parts.

I clicked from the first day I got it, My friend is a saturn tech and loves the 2.2 and said when he hears of those complaints he usually finds nothing wrong and that it is the Injectors...

Mine doesn't do it and I have 52000 on my 07. I know my neon DOHC motor and many other neons did this though. The root cause for them were loose lash adjusters in the head.

Sounds like it's your lifters, get an additive that cleans the lifters and use it next time you change your oil.

my engine has a very light ticking noise.. i think its normal though cuz its been like that since i picked it up from the dealer with only 7 miles on it..

these Ecotec engines arent the quietest, and i cant even hear it from inside the cabin, or when the hood is shut.. so im not tripping

lol

The cam is more out of the wind... In person you can hear it at the front of the engine.
