Bad week

Well, let's start with early in the week.

I wash, claybar, and polish my car, and after doing so, I notice 3 dents on my driver side rear quarter panel.

Tuesday, on the way to school, I rear end a guy in a work van, and I now need a new front fascia.

Today, I go to open my passenger door at the gas station, and didn't even realize how close I was to those damn concrete block things; I now have a 2 inch long dent in my passenger door.

On top of this, there are some other things I have to bring my car into the stealership to fix.

This week seriously sucks.

It's honestly like I'm being punished by god for keeping my car in such good condition for so long.

The stealership said for the fascia it would be like $270, then another $170 to paint.

I'm like wow..

I can only imagine how much it's going to be to fix a few dents.

Yeah, yeah.

It just seems like it's one thing after another, you know?

6 months I've had this car, and it seems like this week was just absolute hell.

Also, when I called the dealership about the new front fascia, I asked if they could NOT drill those holes and mount it with that damn license plate thingy, and he goes.. "I can only order what's supposed to be on your car."

I'm like, okay..

That sucks man,bad luck here, too, but not so much car related. Last my week sewer clogged from tree roots, my cell phone puked and my laptop caught a nasty cold. Then my addopted grandma lost her battle with cancer, my cobalt sprung an exhaust leak and I am laid off from my construction job as of yesterday, until at least next week. Such is life. Good thread to vent in.

The bumpers dont come with holes drilled... They come with lil nipples (haha) that need to be drilled out, and then the bracket is riveted on

Well when I order it I'll tell that guy, there better not be any holes in that bumper or I'm not buying the damn thing.

thats true.. my body guy gives me good deals basically charges me cost on parts.. when i had my front bumper (including fog lights) and after everythng it came to the tune of like 1100 bux.. including paint and all the labor and stuff...

so i'll say that price is good .. it's like 230 for the ion front bumper from him so 270 for the bumper is good
