Different 2.4 TB's
Vince at Trifecta had a test car with a 2.4TB, but I'm trying to make sure the wiring on the 07 is the same so the TB I bought will work.
I already put the TB on but had to take it off because i later realized it was the wrong gasket.

Need to be careful when selecting parts....the 08 Cobalt Sport 2.4L engine does not use the same TB OR intake manifold as the 06-07 Cobalt SS 2.4L engine. The 08 Sport 2.4L intake is a smaller 2-piece molding intake similar to the 2.2 intake and the TB is a different PN as well -- but I don't know if the size is different. We need to have a Sport 2.4L owner to measure his/her TB.
Doesn't the LSJ TB hook up on the LE5 if you do the wiring corretly? I thought Beck has a wiring diagram on how to do it. Although you'd have to get it tuned because it would be throwing a lean condition...
check the howto's its the same TB used by the ss/sc guys. it will need to be wired in the same way beck's diagram shows for the ss/sc tb.
Have you tried it on the car yet?

I'm a 2.2L.
So i have the 2.4TB and 2.4Intake Manifold bolted up, Trifecta gave me a tune.
The car changed it's attitude a lot.
The throttle response is incredible. I can feel a little loss down low and a big gain up top. Which is what I expected. The throttle response makes the car feel a lot faster, might be power I don't know without a dyno. The only downside so far is that the RPM's down come down as quickly so rev matching is more important. Not sure what the will do in the 1/4 mile
Idle is perfect and the car runs much smoother with the tune. Gas mileage is the same
Nice upgrade with no limp mode yet. I've driven roughly 100 miles on it.

I was the first to get it working with Vince. I was basically the beta tester. I love the new power up top. I realy like it for my nitrous setup; haven't tested it with it yet but im sure it will be awsome.
To the OP I would try to find some PN and see if they match.
