It's an off brand, they make it themselves and sell it, it's a decent intake, Filter can be used or replaced with AEM

 

haha not to be mean....but the welds are so poor I don't think any name like AEM or Injen will put their name on it.................its gotta be a local shop doing it whereever the online store is located

 

do you believe this is one of those pay what you get for piece of **** intakes or a decent one thats at a great price?

 

personally who cares how the welds look do they hold? are they fully penetrated? those are my questions.. if it is welded all the way through and wont leak i could care less what they look like.. same like when i welded mdy exhaust up.. i didn't care if it looked pretty as long as it works and frankly for 50 bux. who the hell cares lol if something happens just reweld it .. but 50 bux is better then 200 and still have problems like some other intakes

 

the ebay intake is the ****, dotn bash on it, i can vouch for it, as i have been thru countless intake, i have had the gmpp and this one is loads better

 

now they just need to get that **** back in stock.. then i can have full bolt ons lol and a magic paul tune and be at almost 190 whp lol

 

I don't think he was bashing it....I had to reread what he said a couple times but he wasn't bashing it. Dude its worth the money, the welds hold...the pipe clamps that come with it are ok quality, and the rubber 15,000 miles later is starting to crack....but I fit a 3" 90 degree spectre onto the pipe no problem and it fits snug over the TB too just perfect size......

 

yeeah that 90 degree rubbert thing started to crak on me too, but i sold that intake to a local, so i dont have it no more, but it was a good intake, i would of kept it if i wasnt turbo'n the car

 

i wasn't bashing it at all lol i'm looking forward to them getting it back in actually. I was just saying i don't really care how it looks long as it works it sucks that it doesn't come with silicone couplers but oh well lol it's 50 bux what more can you ask for
