like said, this one may be the only one worth looking into... Before I traded my truck for the G5 I was looking on a few HHR sites, and found one guy that put one of them on, and it actually added a bit more pep to his car... then he did two in a row, and he dyno'd it and got about 25 more hp. So, I'd say they are okay for what the price is.
If I am correct, a member on here has two on his car..I believe his name is "sushidog". It has added more power to his car, last I heard about the setup was that he was gonna increase the voltage or something to get even more power.
Someone else on this site laid it out the best...
To get any kind of respectable performance out of an electric supercharger, you will need to spend upwards of $2-3,000. For that price you can get a regular ol supercharger.
I think it was NJHK
Also there are well known issues and problems with the regular kinds of Forced Induction, but at least those are out there, popular, and have been worked on/out. E chargers are kinda the 24 yr old stoner, wannabe guitarist cousin out of the group. Nobody really knows how to get them to work, and they cause all kinds of electrical nightmares
