you are more likely to see 10-15hp maybe 20 at most!

I don't know if tunning is out yet for the 2.2L though?

If you get a S2 and have the SS/SC yes this is true. Not for us 2.2s though.

80 HP,

That would also be nearly 50% more power that the engine outputs. Even if it was an SS/SC, thats about 40% more power. GM must have some really stupid engineers if their engines are running at 60% of what they can stock.

There is no tuning available for 2.2s, please do a search next time.

In order to add or subtract fuel for our cars you need to run Full engine management or a piggy back ECU.

Or if you have access to a tech 2 you can keep track of the fuel tables. Just install less and less restrictive intakes and filters.

You need a scan tool to monitor yes, but you can't tune with a scan tool.

You need a piggy back like the AEM FIC to do that.

The reason why you cant tune the 2.2 is because there are throttle codes and engine codes...yea you can reflash the engine codes, but the throttle codes came from a totally differant company. The codes wont match up and the computer will throw a codes to not have your car start. but if you can contact the group who did the throttle codes and ask them what to use they will give them to you like what they did to me. I was able to get my govenor removed, advanced my spark a tiny bit and was able to lean out on full throttle situations.QUOTE=YSUsteven;1896758]80 HP,

It also helps when your good friend reflashes computers for GM and can get all of that info for free too
