Exclamation extra hose for injen intake?

there is a hose(3/4" plastic hose) that was originally connected to the stock filter box. Now that i'm putting on injen intake there is no place for the extra hose... if someone has run into this problem, please advise me of what i should do...

i discarded that hose over a year ago when i installed my intake, no problems other than the loud noise from the SAI pump on cold startup.

Stick a $5 dollar breather filter from an autoparts store on the end.

Thats weird...I put a breather filter on mine and it hasn't thrown a CEL once. Going on 6 months now i think.

Connect the stock airbox back on for a bit and drive it and see if the CEL goes away. If it does then try the new intake again, maybe sure everything is tight on it. We had to use electrical tape to make a snug enough fit with the SAI and breather filter.

Heres a link to the How To I made on it, hopefully it will help: https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/how-guide-43/how-2-2l-sai-cai-easy-fix-85867/

The CEL is probably more a result of the intake then the breather line. The extra air coming through the intake is not being metered by the MAF correctly, causing the CEL.
