Why ask again? You're probably going to get the same answers.

Don't bother with in tank stuff. You're better off buying Top Tier gasoline in the first place. Think Chevron, Shell, Mobil etc etc. The only injector cleaners that actually work are the ones introduced into the fuel rail via proffessional equipment.

I beg to differ. Lucas products are the best thing out there. I put a lucas fuel injector cleaner every oil change in my car. It''s about 3-5 bucks at an Autozone. I was convinced of Lucas when my girls Olds Alero with a 2.2 eco w/ 52k on it was only getting 275 miles to a tank in the city. I changed her oil, added the fuel cleaner and by her second or third tank of gas she was getting about 310 to a tank. You just have to get the right product, and Lucas is one of them...

Exclamation Check the Redline Oil site

http://www.redlineoil.com/products_f...p?productID=63

http://www.redlineoil.com/whitePaper/15.pdf

On the package of the Redline Fuel System Cleaner it lists all of the manufacturers that approve the use of Redline. GM is on that list and lots of the high $$$$ car manufacturers as well. RedLine is safe.

Exclamation Throttle Body and Air Intake Cleaner

A good throttle body and air intake cleaner can be introduced into the engine while running to clean the throttle body, intake manifold and the valves. Make sure you introduce it into your intake after the MAFS. You'll need to leave everything hooked up for the car to run while doing this, so loosen a clamp somewhere and insert the spray tube and tighten down the clamp. For the electric throttle body, you'll have to have someone pressing the gas to prevent stalling it out. Spray Rev Spray Rev Spray Rev etc. Do this until you don't see any black puffs from the exhaust.

DO NOT use carb cleaner!! It's not O2 sensor safe.

the best way to clean fuel injectors:

Take them out and clean them. Not that hard to do on an I-4 like ours anyway. Can do mine and have it ready to go in about 20-30 min.

Just curious to why you would want to use Engine cleaner on a basically brand new motor and stock motor (according to your profile)?

It would really be a waste to post a how to... Just take the rail off take out the injectors, hook them to power and ground to open them, then dunk em in a little cup of injector cleaner. Wipe them off on the outside with a rag and throw em back in there. The only thing simpler than that is changing oil...
