intake manifold

i used search and nothing is mentionned yet about his mod...

is there an intake manifold available on the market at this moment??? somebody can give me a part number if there is!?

Umm...yeah Do you guys live under a rock? These have been available for awhile now. They're the same thing as on a j-body.

looks like the same as a 2.4L twin cam intake manifold now that I think about it. and yes the rock I live under is called Ontario

well, i thought when i looked on the site for venom they had it listed as a cobalt only item and wasnt ready just yet but i could be wrong, im pretty sure no one has bought one yet though

I wouldn't buy one either for that kind of money. Take your intake manifold off and port the damn thing yourself. It's not really hard. It does the same thing and doesn't cost anything.

i want to make my car a show car, if it does 14's in the quarter then thats fine (its an LS so i have some adders on the way)

If you want performance go for the GM race built manifold, but you will need to switch to a cablestyle ls1 throttle body but if you are turboing or anything like that it will be worth it!

LS1 TB's are also Fly by Wire. Not Cable.

i think that manifold is ugly as hell though, the venom looks alright.

well power is the point but we want something that looks good making it, that shouldnt be a problem they could have at least polished it and cleaned up the welds nicely, anyway if the exhaust made 50 whp but was all rainbow or pink colored and didnt look good on the car at all, would you still want it on your daily driver?

well my point is that the parts are great when they make good hp but why shouldnt the manufacturer go the extra mile to make it look good?

Can u imagine how much GM would charge for their intake manifold in Hi Polish or Powder Coat?
