Well the original post said:

used search and nothing is mentionned yet about his mod...

is there an intake manifold available on the market at this moment??? somebody can give me a part number if there is!?

thanks
Says nothing about looks...

So if anyone is going to replace their intake manifold, the first thing we are going to think is that it's for performance being that an aftermarket manifold will be "bigger" and flow better.

Great, now you read page 2 and 3 and see how the original poster never responded back to say that he was looking for a manifold for looks.

From my first post on was intended to answer the original posters question.

Snowman - your car is the one I found pictures of the swap done on, thanks for posting up.

you guys actually had a loss on n/a cars? would have thought the shorter runners would have helped out up top if anything, good to know though.

who gives a damn what it looks like if it works for your application and goal to make power?

When he said discovered, he meant he was the first person (forum wise) to put it on an 2.2 ECOTEC...not that he discovered that Saab had ECOTECs.

How the hell would YOU know what he meant?
Come on! A great many people have been putting B207 Saab parts (from both sides of the head) onto the 2.2 Ecotec for over 3 years...
Just because it's not a 5 page thread in some Jbody forums doesnt mean it hasnt happened

1. Calm Down
2. Re-read what I wrote...I said forum wise, he was the main person talking about doing it and the first person on the Jbody forums to do it. I never said that no one has done it before him so calm down and stop looking for something to attack me with.
3. Stop taking the internet so seriously and taking everything to heart. This is purely discussion.

B: I read it fine, you said NOTHING of the J-body forums and anyways what do WE care about the J-body forums here at CobaltSS.net?

Looking for something to attack you with? You’re the one that responded to ME sir, not the other way around. Correct me if I’m wrong, but to the best of my knowledge my post above was the first time I’ve ever responded to one of your posts. And maybe that will have to change, but in any case my initial comments were not directed at you at all it was to the person that said:

You’re the one that felt it necessary to inform me “what he meant” by that.

LOL that’s rich. Trust me I not taking much of what you’re saying “seriously” but if you choose to respond to one of my posts again be prepared to defend you position with something more than condescending “fluff” – Discuss…

yea settle down dude. i was the first to do it and post pics. i didnt discover this yesterday dipshit. we figured this out in 2003 when the b207 was released in the saabs. As brandoson was the first to put the setup on an ecotec and later got rid of it, and is now recently had it installed again.

i got a blown 2.0 engine and had all this stuff on there.

and as far as being the first, show me pics to prove then i wasnt the first, w/ dates. regarding the intake manifold. aight.

find some pics.........they will be of my setup assclown

The only reason I said that was because I read your original post...yes...I get e-mail notification and see what you initially post before you go back and change it. You changed "How the ****" to "How the hell".

The only thing I tried to do was clarify Snowman's comment and not even in an argumentative fashion and honestly, I didn't find it something to lash back out about. If you didn't know what he meant, than just ask him, you didn't have to come back like "you didn't discover anything".

I'm not here to make enemies bro, I'm here to try and help others, learn and just have a good time. I really don't want to go back and forth bickering about something as stupid as this.
