I have the touring, and I don't think even that can be called "quiet". Get a header and it will get louder.

When you say "quiet", do you mean quiet at idle, or quiet at WOT. Because even under partial load I can definately hear it.

That might not be a bad thing though. No sence in attracting Smokey.

Gay, I got a Tsudo first gen N1 and it is good, mellow and loud without being annoying and deafening.

What is your price range, and where do you want your powerband to be? Those answers will determine your setup.

If you're just going for sound, look into the pacesetter header. I'm not saying that it won't give you a decent gain. It will do that. Its just that it is the cheapest option out there. The only thing with the pacesetter is that it is not a direct bolt on; some fabrication will need to be done by an exhaust shop.

Another option is to buy a downpipe with a high-flow cat instead of a header. (Look at ZZP in the vendor index, or Cobalt Addiction) You could do that install yourself, and it will make the exhaust louder.

if you go with the pacesetter make sure you heat rap it becouse it makes a big difference on the under hood temps..plus you will be sending the heat out the exhaust faster...

I have that exhaust with a intake and im putting on the GMPP manifold soon. When im driving and low idle or im stopped its pretty quiet from inside the car with the windows up, but when you get on the gas and run the rpm's higher it gets a little loud but sounds real good.

If you have a 2.2 then your downpipe is 1 7/8" and Crush bent
That's why your GMPP Touring is not very loud. If your looking to make it a bit louder change your downpipe to the stock LSJ one
If you want it really loud use an aftermarket Downpipe like the XTC or ZZP with a highflow cat.

the muffler packing has to wear in a bit...so for the first 2 weeks its going to be a little modest.
thats how my magnaflow was on my truck and my bolt. just give it some time.
