Help Guide a 2.2
you said this completely backwards lol u will gain more power from higher compression but u will sacrifice reliablity lol its safer to run lower compression on boost but not needed unless ur shooting for over 400 IMO which i am so i swapped to 8.9:1 for safety reasons.
But i know that u know wat ur talking about just from ur other posts

It's alot simpler on a turbocharged engine where you can just up the boost to compensate and if the turbo is still in it effciency range you'll have little negative effect. But with a roots type you will experience a power loss, now you have to work the blower harder to copensate for the loss, which is going to create parasitic loss across the board.
Then again I've built quite a few dufferent engines but I guess I don't know what I'm talking about.
