its because people get the wrong clutch setup from spec...

 

There was a thread about it....everyone said it was cracked.....if not Im sorry but I am just going by what everyone was saying.....

It looks like there is tuning to me....but whatever, I dont have a 2.2 so I dont really care.....you guys be the judge.....and there is another guy on the site that has his 2.2 turboed and running good....so it looks like it is cracked to me.....

 

...LIKE i said there before there is no solid proof that its cracked. so again do not give out info you dont have proof with. jsut kuz they say its cracked dosent meen its 100% programmable yet.

and the guy that has a turbo is running a piggyback.. guess you didnt read there thread to well...

 

SCT has a Betta tune on 2.2 and its responding well so far with the computer.. but is not realised as of yet they are still testing it and fixing whatever problems might occur.. it will be realising it around the end of the first quarter if they keep there promise.. just be patient that's all i can say..

what other options does the 2.2 have?

I wouldn't mind going Spec/Fidanza but damn not until someone can report a successful one time install.

yeah thats true...I don't know if it was just him or what. since he couldn't even get the Pacesetter installed right.

guess we wont find out til someone else takes that leap...

that uber guy just got his fidanza flywheel and says it needed to be resurfaced so hmm, I'm worried.

OMG, who cares, theres guys with 2.2 turbos whether its piggyback or the PCM is crack, theres tuning ok? sorry that I dont read every ******* thread on it, but the 2.2s dont intrest me as much, I see guys saying they finally have tuning, etc, etc...GOOD FOR THEM! If they dont, then whatever. Like I said before, theres a few of the threads I have seen, YOU guys be the judge. I really dont care, I think its great news for the 2.2 guys.
