if you've got a scan tool such as the MSD dashhawk you can read vacuum off the ECU

also you can buy a vacuum gauge or boost gauge with a vacuum side and tap into a vacuum line and there you go...

Just attach it to anything between the throttle body and the engine. The manifold, the brake booster line, whatever.

I just want to know where the vacuum lines are so that I can check for a leak.

Also check the vavuum line from the intake manifold to the brake booster assembly, it works off of vacuum also, if you have a leak...

Is this the only line that the brake booster works off of?
