I just ordered the Injen intake this morning. I used to have an Injen cold air on my Nissan and I loved it. They do make a quality product, so I had no hesitation in buying it. Once I get it and have it installed, ill make sure to post some pics.

The gains do seem low from what I saw for cavaliers. I knew the cavies were around 130whp stock.
As for the gains with the injen, i think its worth it. Plus the intake is actually awsome looking. I'm kind of pumped. Probably going into my car next after the system goes in the car and i get through this months car and insurance payments!

a 5hp increase on a dyno could be from anything
they could have iced the intake, and increased the octane ....etc
i wouldnt expect much power from an intake

I ordered my Injen Intake last week. Thought it would be here today, but unfortunately Injen isn't shipping until next week. I payed $250 at my local NOPI store. I can't wait to see what is gonna look like on the car, and the difference in performance.

so premiojoe, would you say $250 was worth it? Do you think the price of that intake will decrease? Cause I am interested, but It just seems strange paying so much for a pipe.

Here is a picture of the intake installed. I know its a small pic, but its all I have.
I honestly have no complaints with the intake. My gas mileage has increased almost 2mpg and I definately have alot more top end power than before. Its really not that loud either to be honest. It does have a nice tone though when I open it up. As far as rain goes, I drove through some nasty storms with the cold air and I havent had any trouble.

Its really pretty simple to install. I actually didnt take the front bumper off. I just unbolted my wheel and took out the wheelwell cover to put the cold air extension on. It took me an hour to install everything.

NGA i recieved mine today from UPS around 4 pm, allready stuck it on (short ram version) will go w/ full cold air intake version when i have time to take front bumper off. I am very impressed w/ the speed and type of service that your company keeps, look forward to doing business w/ you in the future !
quick question for anyone to see if they've tried this... instead of taking the front bumper completely off, any way to just take the plastic out from the inside of the fender well and then stick the rest of the kit on? i need to look at it to see if it can be done, thought of the idea setting here lol. if anyone has tried this plz post.
btw here is a pic of the new cold air intake short ram versoin, slightly bigger then primos
