Question for both of you that have it installed (even if it is still just the short ram at this point) does it increase the engine noise much either on the interior or exterior...this is one of my main deciding factors on going with an intake...I don't want my car screaming .

With the factory exhaust and the CAI installed running normally, u can't really tell at all that u have it installed. after installation, when u punch the gas, u'll definately hear the CAI sucking in air in the car. I can hear it w/ my music turned about a 1/4 of the way up and my windows up. Sounds really good tho, makes u wana just punch the gas and get a new exhaust for the car!

secondary pipe
got pics of the full INJEN intake. I had some free time and installed it today through the right front fender well instead of taking the front bumper off. Sticking this second peice of pipe on quiets the car down a good bit from the other short ram version, but still sounds really good. Can't wait for an exhaust now.

the shortram is a piece of cake, the full cai Recommends removing the front bumper, thats what I did, but a few people have been removing the wheel well to install instead, that is probably much easier imo.

deucekb: so did you just take the wheel and fender panel off instead of the bumper...and did you unplug your battery as well...I did that with the cavy and was just wondering if that was still a good thing to do....thanks.....
