well I mean zip ties can be pretty risky to use for the cams, but if they were working then why bother getting the cam gear holding tool, its honestly your car,not the people who bitched about it.Its like me I am probably going to get bitched at for making my own custom downpipe that is catless, but I paid only 13 dollars for the piping.Major difference in what other companies sell it for.

lol yeah, but my buddy found the tool needed to install the cams at his shop, found it by part #, i didnt think the dealer would have it, seeing as how it is a ecotec specific tool, but yeah, so i am saving up for cams right now should be a month before i can have them

In the 2006 and 2005 all the computer tuning is uncharted territory. there is a crustal map table that needs to be there but is not (base running airflow: which tells the throttle body to be open this much when at idle). In 2007 Gm switched back to the same ECU that they used in LS1's and trucks in our cars. that's why you see other company's tuning those year vehicles instead of ours. Vince is working very hard, and closely with me still trying to get it "perfect." My car is running great but i want it perfect and so does he. there is nothing wrong with the tune it makes the car run outstanding. but is a little shaky at idle do to the fact that, there is not base running airflow table in the ECU like there is in the 2007's

mine is an 07 and its knocking at certain rpm ranges. its not because of the tune, i think its because of either the iat is too hot or the cams are ground incorrectly... had to switch over to 91 octane also...

VERY VERY SMART. That is the best way to go. Build the car from the ground up. You going to do tranny work? I would recommend this as well as soon as you go big power ( aka 300 HP+ ).
