In 2007 Gm switched back to the same ECU that they used in LS1's and trucks in our cars. that's why you see other company's tuning those year vehicles instead of ours. Vince is working very hard, and closely with me still trying to get it "perfect." My car is running great but i want it perfect and so does he. there is nothing wrong with the tune it makes the car run outstanding. but is a little shaky at idle do to the fact that, there is not base running airflow table in the ECU like there is in the 2007's
Took vince a few days but did he make a good tune considering there's nothing he can do about the missing airflow chart. My car runs great with the latest tune he sent me. It does not bog down when de-accelarating anymore so I can live with the idle being jumpy when you start it cold. Took it on a over 900 Km road trip and it pulls way harder than before and I was using my stock LSJ Downpipe, just wait until my custom 2.25" Dp with highflow goes on.

looks like im next to get cam'd, read thru the thread again, lol...i wonder if elevaton affect the tune from vince...im located in TX, so idk how much that will affect things, i actually spoke to my buddy who is helping me, seeing how i was told the car dies from not idling correctly, we're gunna try a few things out, first being unplugg frst o2 to run the car in open loop all the time, meaning what i beleive will run off the MAF sensor until the 02 is warm, but since it wont be plugged in, it will stay open loop as i drive it, cons=gas mileage, mine sucks to begin with 26mpg highway, pros=driveable, lol

I tried that. Cause vince wanted to see if my MAF was bad or dirty. it works and vince changes that in the tune. your right about gas mileage going to ****. but the car sputters a lot.

you dont need to change the tranny. Hahn has been running a stock F23 tranny in his 500+hp sunfire for several years, never had a problem, but maintainance is a must
