Installing sparco steering wheel. airbag question?

exactly right just put a resistor in the ckt and u will be just fine.

Bringing the car to my buddys shop so they can check airbag resistance. I don't want to do it myself. Sounds like the bag can explode. They won't actually splice anything for me they said its illegal. So when I find out resitance?? Do I splice resistor into the 2 wires going to steering wheel?

I would post up what the resistance is for future reference.

Then I would make a plug to fit the connector with the proper resister. That way you can remove it easily later.
