Yeah, since I'm a dealer I decided to order it and check it out because I could have sent it back... but I also have the online service manuals for all GM vehicles since I'm an employee so I was able to check all of the wiring connections and connectors out before I purchased.

I know vince will be on the dyno monday, and in the office tuesday(which we have time set aside to tune my car), so you should be good by then

I wish I could have gotten a ride and helped you film it while I was still there dude. Like I said, looks like I may have a huge foot in the door at Go Daddy, so I will probably be moving down there We'll have to hit up the track and get into the 100mph club. Im shooting for 115-120 though Oh and if you still need some help on anything, just call.

Yeah 100mph would be nice...if this thing ever gets running correctly!

Looks like my MAF piping and/or placement is causing some issues with my tune. I have the Spectre MAF adapter which is 3" piping, I put one of those inserts inside the tubing to bring it to 2.25" around the MAF. The result of that is the AFRs under boost that you saw when you were here (13:1).

Vince was questioning my intake setup so I pulled out the insert and just run the 3" pipe by itself and its even leaner under boost

So, not really sure what to do with my intake at this point...

se if you can talk to a company (zzp OTT or something) about making a redline intake with a cobalt maf housing and vince will have to scale the maf then you should be good.. you might have a bend in the wrong place or something causing turbulence over the maf

it would suck if all your problems are from something simple like your MAFS being in backwards.

No its not in backwards...with the adapter I have you can only run the maf one way so can't really mess that up.

It was determined that my MAF placement was causing the MAF to read incorrectly. So I pulled the intake I was running and I'm just doing a straight shot off the TB. Pretty much MAF adapter to filter. Drove it to work this morning and HUGE improvement. Car is actually hitting close to the commanded AFR now and I can safely stay in it the whole gear (if u consider low 12s safe). Unfortunately I can't run the car without that insert...it doesn't like that 3" piping at all. I'll see if Vince can address that though.

Makin progress!

yup vince can definitely address that .. i have a 3" maf section and he scaled it so it's all good like i said you might want to try to get a company to make a redline intake with a cobalt maf sensor
