Hopefully selling my wingless trunk to a local guy this week. After that it's downpipe time.

I'm looking through these drum to disc brake conversions for us 4 lug guys. This one guy swapped out the whole rear axle from an ss, but he was a 5 lug. Another guy drilled 5 lug rotors to a 4 lug, but made brackets and didn't use an ss rear axle. My thought is buying a whole ss rear axle and drilling in a 4x100 bolt pattern on the rotors. Think it'll work?

Ya gotta make the hubs 4 lug then too which would be lame so you might as well just convert your fronts to 5 lug also

Forgot about the hubs. Seems there's no cheap way to have discs on a 4 lugger.

Did you convert from drums to discs and how much money was the swap?

I'm still in need of:

Wide band $150
Boost gauge $ <100
Tune $ 350
Downpipe. $210

I hope this build is worth it!

When buying a downpipe from zzp, would you recommend the one for a 2.2 or the other one? It says the 2.2 one is best for NA, but that won't affect me. What do you think?

Go for the lsj one especially if you are using an lsj exhaust manifold or bigger exhaust.

I'm using a zzp shorty header which can work on an lsj. So, I'll use the lsj one. Thanks man

As of now I have a tsudo cat back. I plan on a catless downpipe and keeping the cat back for a while

You might need to get the 2.2 downpipe then. I'd ask zzp. not sure if the catback flange will match the exit flange on the downpipe if the catback was meant for a 2.2
