Helps if you're boosted but probably not much difference when you're NA. And as for the flames, its not something that you really shoot for, my LNF does it on shifts because of meth but it's not purposely tuned that way. They make flamethrower kits if you just want the look but honestly you'll never even see it so it is kinda a waste lol

The ttr manifold is for boost.

You dont need internals unless you want higher compression. 80k is nothing and you cant make enough power NA to break anything unless your tune is ****.

Why do you want a built transmission? Theres no way you can break the f23. Clutch dump it everyday and nls at 7k and it wont care.

Sounds like you just like shiny things and should maybe do a bit more research as to what things would actually benefit you. Look in the 2.2 performance section.

well as much as i love shiny things, that's not why i want a built f23. eventually i will go forced induction if i get bored(which i'm assuming i will) and i was looking at the f23's specs and its good for i think 200 ft/lbs and that's not a whole lot so i wanted to invest in a built one so id literally never have to worry about it. i just like to be safe then sorry, if that makes any sense. also, this is the first car i'm building so i'm still learning a lot.

Powell will rebuild them just very expensive to add a LSD since you'll practically never find them used, OBX isn't an option in my book only Quaife.

hey everyone! i was looking at comp cams the other day and was wondering, can i buy these and throw them into a stock engine without issues? don't want pop my head or hurt any valves:
COMP Cams: Xtreme Energy™, XE252HR-11 <BR> Street Applications, Strong Torque

if not, what do i need to upgrade to run these safely?

There aren't any upgrade cams for 2007+ L61/LAP. Not bolt-in ones anyway. The exhaust cam is too long and needs to be cut, and a cam sensor needs to be aligned and pressed onto the intake cam.

There were a handful of people on the HPTuners forum who could replicate no-lift shifting with HPT. Also if you're going to be NA you don't need the 2-step launch or whatever it is. Seems like an unnecessary expense to me but I'm not manual trans so don't take my word over others.

I loved the nls in my car, but the launch control was a novelty. I cant say it was better or worse without it, being N/A of course.

The main thing is that the window switch feature automatically cuts the spray if you touch the clutch, which was a nice extra failsafe. That being said, there probably aren't many other balts that used the wotbox for nitrous management.
