so ive had my ignition module and maf replaced along with plugs. when i come to a stop my rpm goes all the way down to 500, and if im at a red light it starts to lurch and the exhaust pops, i checked for codes and none came up. i am at a total loss for whats wrong with it. please give me some ideas!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

fuel injectors maybe, try cleaning the fuel system and changing fuel filter

 

dealer ran a full check on the engine when i took it in for the ignition module, they said it didnt need to be tuned, and the injectors are fine. if i leave the car on and just let it sit it pops and gurgles and does a lil shudder

 

clean out your tb.

i put a can of seafoam in the tank, and it has worked rather well until this morning on my way to work my engine light popped on. lol, fml

 

dump those plugs and put the stockers back in......just read your sig.

 

Buddy has a stock L61 sedan and it has similiar symptons.

Idle drops, and shifts hard. He says once warmed up he doesn't noticed them, and it has thrown a map code.

Bumping this for my own personal reasons, as it's related and I would too like some insight.

 

Mine drops like that too, its an LSJ though. It has NEVER stalled though. Its not consistent...but does it only when its cold (when it decides to do it)

 

I think there is something went wrong about your ignition module. Did you check it?
