Muffler delete on 2.2?

I'm was wondering if anyone has done this and if so what does it sound like? does it throw any CELs? It would be a very cheap alternative until i save up for my catback exhaust because i am so sick of hearing stock. Please give me some honest opinions & a sound clip of anyone who has it would be great.

Just save for a catback. Gains just from removing the muffler would be next to nothing.

why dont you buy a electric exahust cutout?

install it after your resinator and then you will still look stock but sound mean just buy a flip of a switch.

I've heard it on a 2.2 and it sounds like absolute ass. I mean I can't think of anything that would sound worse except maybe a dying rhino.

disconnect the catback, and start the car. I assure you that will put a rest to any thoughts whatsoever of hacking off your muffler.
