Yo, if you cant spin the tires in second anymore youve got an issue....... Regardless of whether its cold or hot, wet or dry, your car should chirp the tires on a fast 1-2 shift, it may not make the same noise....but it should still spin them the same, you should still feel the same hop/shudder as when they make lots of noise.
uh oh.....
how could a fuse be doing it?

Yes, most likely the exhaust and intake and possibly your clutch are all working together to make it stop. I gurantee your car is faster, just cause you can't chirp doesnt mean you lsot pwoer, it just comes at a differnt rpm range. Im willing to bet you gained a few tenths with your upgrades
Anywho, you're right. I did get raped on the balt. I paid too high for the sticker, and my APR was high as well.
for an on topic post to the op.. its cold up where you live right now and the tires isnt gonna chirp when they are cold unless you sit there and do a good burn out to warm them up. when tires get cold the rubber starts to get hard and doesnt grip as well anymore and wont make any sound like the chirp that you're talkin bout. it was in the 40's down here where i live this past friday night and all my car would do is spin without ever makin a sound, leavin a mark or startin to smoke any. i have bfg kdw 2's. they are z rated and have a softer compound than general tires and when it gets cold they tend to get harder than most other regular tires. thats one of the reasons that people up north get winter tires so they will have somethin that can grip.

ohhh.. so it should come back once it warms up.
What do I get for showing proof? If I gain some benefit out of it, I'll gladly go take pictures of the car along with censored pictures of the registration and insurance cards.
