I like racing from a roll to be a little easier on the tires and driveline. this way you can have a little fun and hopefully not smoke your rubber or be too hard on our weak axles and tranny. I just dont like it when **** breaks...not that Cobalts break easy, but you know what I mean

Anybody ever try this header on an 07? I know the o2 sensor is in downpipe instead of the manifold. For the price this header is looking pretty good

I have an 06. Is the 02 sensor in the manifold or DP? The reason I ask is because I am getting a SS/SC manifold and believe the sensor is in their manifold.

In 07 they went to the first o2 sensor to the downpipe. You should be fine from what i have read on here

i have a 06 ls, my o2 is on the header...not the dp, the one on the dp is at the bottom after the cat

i will be purchasing the obx for my car with the downpipe, magnaflow 40 muffler, magnaflow cat and custom 2.25" piping and i will hit a dyno within the next month when its all on. I also have an auto, with a b&m shiftplus and injen cai.

on the collector end of the header do you think that the tapered pipe could be honed out to 2.5" so i could have 2.5" for the whole exhaust

^^^yeah the collector itself can be cut to a 2.5, im sure you could, but i suggest you just get the exhaust depot dp made that header, saves u alot of trouble
