I am surprised at not seeing the cross bars beside the seats.
The "cross bars" and "door bars" are going in today I believe.

Morning bump...

More new photos! Door bars are in, and Rod, the cage is good to 8.50. Now that the cage and parachute are fully done, it's engine time! Should be very soon along with the electrical and then the intake system. I can't thank Mike Noriega and Marty Ladwig enough for them helping me out on this project!

8.50? Didn't you leave yourself some breathing room?

Very cool!

The car won't get anywhere near 8.50 but hey, it's nice knowing you have a cage that's good up to it .

I am not sure what you are looking for but other than metal nothing is there. Well maybe wiring but mine was removed before the pictures were taken.

good luck to both rollerman dan and victory red ss on your build i hope to see u guys tear it up in the 1/4 mile soon; i went up to jbp and saw victory red ss balt and it looks sexy i think they were making a wiring harness for it; i plan on building my motor on my 2.4 just look for parts right not; i plan on going s/c and suggestions on the compression ratio i should go with?

The 2.4's have been S/C'ed with the stock compression, so you should be fine.
Dan's car will likely see the track before mine.
I just hope I live long enough for mine to get finished.

The higher the boost the lower compression you will want. If it is just the M62, stock compression will be fine. Now going with the TVS may be a different story. JBP are TVS distributors.

i was thinking about going with rebel's twinscrew in which i would have to build my motor, or the m62 which the 2.4 is perfect for; but gonna put a built lsj head, forged internals and bigger a bigger TB but gonna do more research b4 start putting the money down for all these parts

I can hope but at the same time I want yours done as well. Whenever it may be, we need to get the cars together and see what they can do. I'm willing to take a long drive if you are...

If you go into my gallery you should find a picture or two of the naked b pillar.
I don't want to post pics in Dan's thread.

Should have been I thought...haven't heard anything in a while...very very depressing knowing that I was really wanting Vegas two weekends ago to be my first race. I'm not sure when it'll be done, just waiting for that phone call or photos I guess.

Do not run the stock fuel system with a 100 shot...and yes, timing is an issue. I'd get a tune to make sure nothing bad happens.

75 shot you'd be good, it's after 75 that you're going to have to upgrade somethings...
