parts interchangable.

I kno that alot off the ss and ls parts can be interchanged but i remember readin somewhere that our cobalts and the mazda's parts r fairly interchangable too and I was lookin at getting a downpipe for my turbo kit. and well they dont make cobalt downpipes wit the 4bolt pattern but I found one for the mazda 6 that looks like it would fit so I was wondering if i could get some insite on this from ne of the more experienced mechanics on here. alright thanks

Ok so the pipe fit with a lil modifacation, namely cutting off a few inches after the 3rd o2 sensor, but thats jus cuz the way I had to orientate the turbo. It seemed like it would bolt straight up if the exhaust side of the turbo was faced towards the passenger side of the vehicle, but o well, it fits n wrks now, and sounds amazing to boot. so all in all id say it fits with a lil muscle on the drivers side, but would bolt straight up it u could orientate the exhaust to the passenger side, least thats my review.
