Patriot Performance Stage 2 Head

In planning for the future, I am trying to narrow down which direction to go with regards to the 2.2 cylinder head.

Option 1: Patriot Performance's Stage 2 head

Option 2: Buy a used head and an aftermarket valvetrain. Have the head machined at a local shop.

My question is: Will I get similar flow out of the option 2 head, or will the Patriot head be the best way to go performance wise. I'm not worried about the cost difference although if there is a big difference between the two it might determine which way I go.

I'm wondering though what the cams are designed for. If I go for the patriot head, it won't be because I want to stay n/a, thats for sure.
