theoretically the best way to launch is to pick an rpm and stage to it. Then when the light turns green, mat the throttle and slowly let the clutch out maintaining that rpm that you picked with clutch control and then once the clutch is all the way out be ready to grab the next gear. That way you put max power down with minimum wheel spin. You also murder your clutch.
