I heard the same thing . i would like to know how much$$$ how much horse power and how to install.
if its th3 25hp and more gas mileage then DONT BUY IT. ive heard that the way it works is it sends a false signal to the PCM from the IAT(intake air temprature) sensor telling the PCM theat the air is colder (when it really isnt) thus making the PCM send more fuel to the engine. so you willl be running rich which in most cases if you are to rich then you lose power and sending more fuel to the engine when it doesnt need it is going to kill your gas mileage.
everybody who says they have a chip have one of those cheap ebay chips that ^^^^like mentioned above don't do crap, the way that the cobalt is configured and such you will need a reflasher or programer to do any changes to the computer, something like the hypertech.
didnt do anything for me really. probably in my mind but when i put it seemed like i could push red line a bit farther. but again it is mostly in my mind. ill take it off this weekend and see if i notice a change and let you guys know.
