theres a guy i work with and he has a 2.2l cobalt andhe asked me about performance chips. he wants to put one on his cobalt. i told him about slr motorsports and jet. what are you guys running as far as a performance chip and other mods that arent too expensive. i told him to get an intake too. thanks for any help.

 

Trifecta or Hp tuners you get a custom tune not a canned tune. With Hp you have to find your own tunner, Trifecta you have to wait for Vince

 

Yeah tuning a n/a car, with a canned tune is a nono

Maybe for diesel trucks.. That's about it (assuming the vehicle isn't stock)

 

Why is it only the 2.2 guys wanna use these amazing canned tunes. I don't hear any 2.0 guys wanting these dumb tunes.

 

there are more guys that are new to tuning/performance upgrades with 2.2l

and he never said he wanted it, just he had heard about them
