NO!! Waste of money! If you want performance for the 2.2:

Intake
Header
Downpipe
Exhaust(no bigger than 2.5")
Better Tires
LIGHTER rims
Torque Dampener
Lowering Springs
Exhaust Manifold
Poly Motor/Tranny Mounts
75 shot of Nitrous...

generally on ebay

CHEAP PERFORMANCE = LITTLE/NO PERFORMANCE, oh course there are exceptions but this is not one of them.

Thanks for the quick response. I didn't think so, but if it really increased MPG it would be worth it within the first tank of gas

Yeah, those are generally just something that gets plugged into one of your sensors and usually they mess up things a lot worse. You end up taking them off after possibly damaging your car. A friend of mine bought one and it made his car run like crap, and basically it was just some sort of resistor.

Didn't think CHevy would let there be less efficent MPG and HP with a simple resistor.

Yeah, it will work. It will screw up your engine, after all, thats what its designed to do.

Honestly, if someone doesn't know that a "performance chip" doesn't work, I wouldn't suggest them using nitrous.

Lowering springs and no type of struts that can handle the drop. Stock struts won't...

There would be a much better flow of exhaust with a actual header design than a manifold.
