pissed at s/c

all i am hearing actual stated facts on for superchargers is for the damn s/c ss. i bought the 2.2L so i could get the "factory bolt-on supercharger" and be that much ahead in the long run. but all i read for sure is the stage upgrades for the ss, which pisses me off. i might just have to go for an aftermarker turbo setup and void the warrenty, but god it would be so much better to have it covered. you think we would start hearing actual info about s/c's for the 2.2 since so many of us want them.

After SEMA you will probably see the SC kit for your car come onto the market.

Don't worry, you're not forgotten

The only problem im hearing about the SC for the LS is that it only produces 35 Hp which isnt worth the 3000 dollars.

I guess if you like wasting money, go could spent less then that and get an increase of 35hp by doing other mods.

35whp from an SC isnt bad
considering how much the supporting mods will help, and all the bolt ons and tuning needed, i would bet you would be around 210whp

I just sold my 03 cavalier to get my SS/SC

To my knowledge the ecotec in my 03 was the same in the new ls cobalts. GM has already just released a supercharger kit for the 2.2. Check the GM Performance build book for pics and info. They have a part number it is for a 2.2 liter ecotec engine.

Don't stress, it's already available. I don't see why it won't work on the cobalt.
