Problem with installation

Problem with installation

ok well i installed my new coil pack and ICM and the car start up fine but the car is idling rough kinda like a WRX...what the hell is going on...anybody have any ideas i need help guys...i just dropped 300 bucks on these parts and its not running right.

Sounds like its running on only 3 cylinders. I've heard a lot of honda's that were only on 3 cylinders and it sounded just like a WRX. Might check wiring. Other than that I don't know.

fouled spark plug bro. happened to me a couple times. just repalce the spark plugs and you'll be fine

Yea i was electricuted 4 times haha what i did was i took the coilpack off and just put my finger on each boot spring as my friend turned the car over...i just dont understand what is wrong...

I cannot believe you did that willingly.

Plug the spark plugs into the coilpack and set it on top of the head so they are grounded, then crank it again to see if you are getting actual spark.

i should remind you that the packs DO produce enough amperage at 40K or so volts to stop your heart in just the right circumstance. They aren't like tasers with dual voltage, these things will kick you with 40K volts until your down.

maybe the coil pack you bought is bad. gm has alot of **** products. im a tech at a chevy dealer here in jersey and i wait for a part to come in for a customers car and sometimes the part is bad.
