The outer lines of the endplate go to a Y then to the filler neck, then the filler neck flows to the heat exchanger input and somewhere in that line put a T fitting for my option B tank. Then the heat exchanger flows to the pump then pump to the single input of the endplate. That correct?
If using option B the Filler neck is no longer needed, the T goes where the filler neck use to be! Then the new tank 3/4 inch line goes to the long end of the T

Alright, thank you. What should these cores smell like?

oil goes nowhere near that intercooler system. if yours smells like oil, you've got something terribly wrong.

it is possible that your pcv system put some excess blowby in the intake tube which caused it to deposit on the laminova cores, but that is about it

Ok, my sense of smell must be off then. The stuff that was dripping out wasn't oil, it just smelled like oil. Hopefully I'll be able to get my IAT's down now since my stock core setup was just terribly wrong.

So does the intake manifold need to be removed in order to swap the cores and install the endplate? Doesn't look like it

yes you do. the oil filter housing will be in the way if you don't. there really is no way to do it in the car.

how's it going man? haven't seen you around for a couple years...

Got everything to do a dual pass but my drill battery died while working on it so I'll finish putting in the new bung tomorrow. But the first place the output of the ic pump should go to the middle spot on the endplate right? then both outputs to a Y line to the filler spot/option B tank then to the h/e and back to the pump?

ah okay it looked like you might be able to get the endplate off but I guess it would be pretty hard to pull the cores out with the filter housing there

yeah I've been MIA because my car has been a POS the past couple years in the process of getting it re-tuned right now so everything is lookin good at the moment

why are you taking the ic pump off?

it's a 13 if i remember right, but is it too hard to just take a couple sockets down there to see? everything is metric on this car, so that eliminates 1/2 of the sockets already.

i'm not trying to be an ass here, but this car is not that hard to work on. you should be able to figure some stuff like this out on your own. if you can't figure out what size socket goes on a bolt, maybe you should take your car to someone else to work on

hey bud, i've done nothing but try to help since i saw this thread. i'm just pointing out that some obvious questions that you posted on here would have literally taken you less time to solve while under the car than the time it took you to make a post

If you have to ask sizes of obvious socket bolts you really shouldn't be working on a car. If I asked every bolt size tearing down my car I would spend more time asking such foolish questions instead of working on it plus it makes you look lazy and retarded

How is that a bad thing to ask bolt sizes? It beats guessing while its freezing outside working underneath a car.

go down with a few sockets, pick which one fits best... it takes less time than opening up css.net and making a post.

now, if you were asking about something a little more technical, i could understand, but this is bullshit

Ok well, anyway. Got the IC pump off. Works. Tapped a hole into the endplate for a dual pass. Fitted a brass 90 elbow in it. I'm going to have it welded onto the endplate just to guarantee no leaks.
