Ruff Idle?

Any Reason The Idle Would Be So Ruff On A Cobalt Lt 2006?

That seems to be the solution on the 2.0's. Couldn't hurt; its pretty simple to get at.

u could always run soem seafoam thru the car, and if you've never cleaned the TB off, im sure its filthy, mine was filthy after the frist year, nw i clean it every 4-6months

remove the big black thing under your hood...thats part of the stock air box. There should be a clamp holding it in place.
Once it's off, you'll be looking at your throttle body. Remove the 4 bolts holding it in place, unclip the wiring clip, and spray the inside with engine degreaser or throttle body cleaner or brake cleaner, etc. Use a Q-Tip to get at the hard to reach corners, and just clean it all out. Then reinstall
Maybe a 15 minute job

i forgot to mention this, but be sure to remove the throttle body before spraying it with cleaner!
Im sure you figured that much on your own, since i explained how to remove the throttle body, but i noticed i left that little detail out of my directions. You dont really want engine degreaser getting inside your engine after all...lol

Then the 4 bolts that hold the TB in place. It will look like this when then TB is removed:


I have some other stuff removed, so it wont look EXACTLY like that, but you should be able to get it from there
