I'm not even going to run a boost controller right now for that very reason. I have no need over 7 psi anyways. To let you guys know what's going on, I've ordered the Hahn "no tap" oil system. Not the whole system, just the drain plug fitting so I can drain into the oil pan using the existing hole. Hopefully I can next day it for friday and can continue saturday tuning.

you really think that will work ok, i mean i looked at it several times and thought i better not. But i got all my oil lines and fittings from vulcan yesterday, and my turbo is setting so low with the equal length mani that i'm not getting to good of a drain path going, i actually ordered 45 degree fittings from jegs last night to try to fix it. I would love to use the hahn setup but am worried...

hahns only works on their turbo, acording to them, althought u can just not use the fitting that goes to their turbo and use the from urs and connect it with the hose and ur set anyway

Well i think their fitting will work fine with my hose but, i sent them an email to ask if it would work with my turbo and they said no, so i wasn't sure if i should use it, plus i am worried about the oil backing up in the turbo....
I have spent a pile of money on the oil feed and return stuff, i just want it on and working properly. Turbonetics does NOT recommend using a drain below the oil level so i don't know what i am going to do. GOOD LUCK SENTRY, let me know how much hahn wants for just the drain plug and fitting.

It won't matter, I didn't buy the whole kit, just the oil drain adapter and the 90* barbed fitting.

Just the drain adapter is like $50, I'm guessing around 20 for the other piece. I'm just ready to get it finished.

Man, it sucks knowing I have a fully functional car but I can't drive it!!!

Still waiting on a response from Hahn on buying those parts. I was hoping for a next day ship but weekend has come. I got a response back yesterday, "So you want to buy these parts still?", and I'm like, "YES I DO, WHAT'S THE TOTAL!!?"

I'm thinking about doing the same. All I would need is just a 1/2 pipe tap, problem is, I'd have to order it online, no one and I mean NO ONE carries one. Not lowes, home depot, any auto parts stores. I figured I'd just next day that oil drain kit, but not if it means waiting another week.

As you might assume, I'm ready to drive this beast.

Hey i have a 1/2 inch pipe tap, like brand new, in my toolbox at work, i plan on using it this weekend to tap my pan, but after that if you want to borrow it, i could send it to you. Ive had it for a long time and can not remember where i got it, bought it to retap the intake on chevy trucks when the coolant fitting would break off. I know it's really no faster that way than just buying it off the internet, but thought i would atleast offer it. Anything to help you get done ,lol....

They actually carry the individual tap sizes? There's an ACE about 30 mi from my house, where I might go tomorrow to look, but on the website all I see is whole sets, and most of the time they don't have NPT sizes.

Like i said, it's been a while since i got mine, but i know i didn't buy it off the internet and i usually go to ace for weird stuff like that. I was dissapointed when i went there yesterday looking for an 1/8 npt 45 degree fitting, all they had was 90 degree fittings.

It's been a while since I updated this, but the car has been running for a while. I kind of got tired of working on it for a while, just been kinda bummed out. Recently made a lot of progress and Vince has been working on the tune and it's running pretty good. Hooking up the wideband tonight. Still having a tiny little oil drip on occasion, never knew oil was that resiliant. Every time I think I've nabbed it, it will seep through and say hello. Oil flanges REALLY have to be sealed and tight as hell.

Smoke coming off the turbo? I was thinking it's just the spilled oil burning up, but I'm open to suggestions.

How much smoke? It will do that for a while if you spilled oil on it, should be gone after maybe 20 minutes of running though!
