You could have done a much smaller turbo with 2.4 manifold for around 2500-3000.
I have got the manifold on, changed the plugs. Waiting on the rest to come in, right now we're just chilling watching pinks on tv.

I called my turbo supplier monday he said it would go out then... i called again today to double check, gave me a tracking number that wasnt working in UPS system, claimed it was for whatever reason but that it DID ship out, hope he didnt drop the ball on this one. let me know!

Probably around 4,000. I could have done it a lot cheaper, but I have larger goals than what my stock motor can handle. For instance, the intake manifold was totally unnecessary until I up the boost. That's 550 right there, not to mention the turbo was a little pricey. It will all be worth it in the end.

Well, if any of you guys are still awake, I'll run an take some quick pictures.
Long story short, UPS lost my package today in Tennessee somewhere, so my 2 day air was for nothing. The turbo, manifold, wastegate, oil lines, and vacuum hose is supposed to be in tomorrow prompt. All I did today was the essentials: removed headers, replaced spark plugs, installed maf adapter, finished routing the IC piping, installed the vulcan intake mani, installed the 42's.
Checklist for tomorrow: Drill and tap oil pan for return, install header, turbo, solder injector harness, hook up the pipes and then tow to exhaust shop and I'll be complete.
Pic of the vulcan manifold on.
What I'm focusing in on is the bov adapter pipe.
This is the MAF adapter I told you guys I was getting at autozone. It ended up being like $30, have to order it though. part number 9405. I had to zip tie the radiator hose out of the way, it ended up being right over where I needed to complete the tubing up.

Because my blow off valve is atmospheric only. If I run it draw through like that, every time my bov actuates I will run super rich because the sensor is reading air that is no longer there. My maf adapter is 3", so no worries. This is actually the preferred method when doing atmospheric bovs.

looking good man.. good to see my IC piping goto a good cause can't wait for running vids..
oh and just a bit of advice did you use hair spray on the pips ? that'll help it not slip off and cause boost leaks

What the ****? Hairspray? No offense, but that sounds like a good way to blow something up if those fumes build up in the pipes.
Does that really work?

Ok, package hasn't come in yet. While I'm waiting though, I did rewire the injector harness.
By the way kids, don't be in a rush like I was and lay a soldering iron that's operating at 800 degrees fahrenheit on a bed sheet. It will burn **** up, as the last pic shows.
