Yeah injectors are the main cause for concern right now, they're 42's. I bet you one is not spraying.

Hahaha, well I found the problem. None of the injectors are spraying. Which really threw me for a loop. I took the fuel rail out, and watched as I turned the ignition, and so much fuel built up that one of the injectors would shoot off the rail and fuel would go shooting out. I have no clue what would cause that. Surely it's not possible that they all would be bad?

Anyone see any problems that would cause something not to work right?

u sodered them on...check all the connections, make sure they are all good, not some ghetto ****, i know i woudl of re pin'd before i tried to soder them together, make sure you sodered them on right, there should be one wire thats the same color in every injector, and one that isnt, make sure you have it all connection nice and good, if all else fails, you coudl take a tester, poke a hole in the wire after the soder and see if there is some sort of current after it

check to see if u have a constant 12 volt + to the correct side. Then use a test light to check to see if they fire when they should, or use a noid light set if you have one.

I got it running, but it runs very rough. I'm going to work on it some more tomorrow, maybe even have a shop look at it.

Just curious, where did you get your injectors from, or better yet what did they come out of? I would check for injector pulse to all cylinders using a noid light or even a 194 bulb will work. If you got a friend with a scan tool that reads data, since you got it running, watch your misfire graph on the scan tool, that will help you determine what cylinders ar missfiring. Good luck with this!!!

I bought them off a member on here. They're 42's from a stage 2 kit, but I think there's more of an issue with my wiring than the injectors. Either way, I'm going to do some more tests tomorrow, datalog some and check to see what cylinders are misfiring.

Yea not gonna lie the wiring looked a little sketch...

Check out this page...

http://www.mmxpress.com/technical/connections.htm

Goto the part that is called "Butt Soldering"

Read that how to, also i suggest using shrink wrap over all soldered joints, i swear by it, just using tape allows for moisture to get into the wiring and cause corrosion. I normally use 3/16" shrink wrap.

Yeah, at the time I didn't have any electrical tape or shrink wrap. Now I redid it with electical tape. I guess tomorrow I will redo it again with shrink wrap and make sure all the connections are rock solid.

Just finished redoing the wiring harness like that guide said. Everything is really semi professionally done now, not rigged like it was. I still have an oil leak, so tonight I'm going to take the oil return line out and coat the threads with rtv and put it back. Last time I just spot treated it where it was leaking out.

I need a couple of quarts of oil since it's low now, other than that not much to report. If this doesn't work I might get some help from a mechanic I know. He can help me get it running for sure, I just hate to come this far and then have to get someone to help me finish it. Ya know?
