i didn't think RTV took that long to dry.. got any more pics of under the hood?

thw 2.5" dp wont be bad for right now.. hell just get a cutout put in there at some point.. that way you can have a nice quiet exhaust but when you want you can let it rip

Hmm, I don't know. Some websites say 24 hrs, I might try it tonight and see if it's dried.

Mine is the regular black rtv. And yes, full cure is 24 hours even though right now the dab I tested seems to be fully dried. I hate making you guys wait, I really do, but when it's done it's done. I like to do it right the first time. Really though, there is nothing in the way of a test run tomorrow for sure.

So ready to get home and test it out. Been without a car for weeks now. I'll be so afraid and exhilarated at the same time, lol.

I get off in another hour and a half, so we will see then!

I finished tapping it off with oil, and got a jump and guess what, doesn't run. It turns over but it gets through a couple of cycles and dies. I'm thinking it's the spark plugs, but obviously I'm not too sure. Anyone got any suggestions?

check all fuses, check plugs, make sure your coils are in there good, make sure they are still connected; check ur IGN fuse, make sure your battery isnt dead :p

Replaced plugs and still same effect. Coils are on tight. It's too damn dark to check fuses, that will have to wait until tomorrow. Battery is low, but of course that's to be expected. Generally the battery only keeps the starter from turning, but I'm getting spark and it ignites, but I'm having trouble keeping it going. I can smell gas, which means it's most likely an issue with the injectors. Like I said though, way too dark to check the solder and fuses tonight. I might even call in sick tomorrow and get it running.

I'm open to suggestions.

remove the fuel rail, with injectors attached, and turn the key, make sure they all spray fuel out; be careful, do not aim at any open flames/antyhing that will ignite fuel

ps this will make a mess; cover your eyes or anything else fuel sensitive :p im not responsible for any damages or w/e happends from this

also pull 1 coil at a time, stick a screwdriver into the boot, turn the key, make sure they all give spark, do this 1 at a time, so 3 should be in, 1 is out, make sure they all give spark, you can do this after checking to make sure your engine is getting fuel

ps. not resonsible for anything from doing that either careful, it will shock you, thats how u know its giving spark

sounds like the injector idle pulse width is out of wack if you can't find anythigne else wrong.. what injectors you have again 42s or 60s?

thats what happened to mine when i went back to NA

the stock tune didn't reload so it was trying to run the car on virtually no fuel but i could smell loads of fuel... it would crank and if i held the car floored it would hold but soon as i'd let off the car would die
