Dude, I got the EXACT same problem. I got an LSJ fuel rail for the 42s and I'm getting fuel pressure and everything, and it runs GOOD for like 1 second and then brrrr. It shuts itself off. I even had a mechanic look at it, everything is good except it keeps shutting itself off.

ok than i might be scared for no reason lol, im hoping for, no offense, user error :p cuz man im about to turn my build around, sell my turbo **** if vinces turbo tunes arent equal to his blower tunes lol
hey man you should come out to the dyno day i'm starting it's april 18th it looks like just to hang out and maybe do a pull or 2 to get some numbers

its running with the stock injectors in im gonna change the plugs in the morning and see if i can get it running a lil better im thinking its the 60 lbs injectors the lenght and over all size it the same as my stock .. is it possible the injectors are bad or ?
my neigbors may hate me 4 starting my car a bunch of times i have straight exhaust no cat res or muffler lol

I know 60's are pretty big but with vince's tune he should more than likely get ur car up and runnin. I am stumped with all this injector problems. I mean u had ur old set up running with no problem and those were 42's.

it's either the plugs or maybe the 60's the injector pulse width might not be right thats the only thing i could think of my idle was a bit crazy when i first started my car with 60's
if thats the case vince can definitely take care of it .. he fixed me up quick..
however though that is the issue with 60's they tend to be a PITA to tune for because they're pencil style injectors
refer back in the thread.. he realized it was because his injectors were too short and were dumping fuel onto the intake manifold... so the engine was getting barely any fuel..

if it's not loading boost tune that could definitely be it the injector setups would be all fucked up so when you start it it just dumps fuel then barely has any
that would explain why when you hole the pedal down it stays on because it's adding more fuel (which is really where it should be at)
The injectors are in, and I know for sure they're firing. I got good spark, and air isn't an issue. I got a mechanic to look at it today and he told me it was electrical. Something is causing the car to shut off, like the computer is saying, "****, what the hell!" and shutting off.
I'm going to email vince and see if he knows what the deal is. I can just about guarantee you it's not the tune though. I had it running with his tune earlier this week, just really badly because those injectors were dumping fuel. No need to worry there, I'll load the stock tune and try cranking it just to be sure. Like dave said, I can't datalog it because I can't keep it running long enough.
well he sent me my 1st tuned and i loaded and had the same problem then he email me a different so i car run it with out my 2.4 t/b and i loaded that on the palm device and it said new tuned loaded and still same issuses
