where did u get the lsj pigtales at? Also what made u go with pigtales rather than repining your stock harness into the lsj wiring harness???

I bought a set of 42s that came with the lsj harness, then I just resoldered them. It's easier to just strip and solder than to worry about repinning. Just a weird thing I decided to do I guess.

Alright matt heres kinda where were at... called my turbo supplier... AGAIN... more problems, the f'in package has not even left yet! Finally was able to talk him into 2nd day shipping with saturday delivery so you still have the weekend to work on it, which sucks *****. Why its going out this late is beyond me.. i called them MONDAY to make sure it was shipped, they told me it did, i called WEDNESDAY to make sure it was shipped AGAIN, they said it did, they gave me the tracking info that didnt work, i called again TODAY, and o look here its sitting here. Great. On top of that i also called UPS and they can not refund anything for the 2nd day air on the other parts since it was weather that caused the delay. So basically were getting screwed from all angles. I didnt know that it was possible to have that happen. Ill give you a discount on some future parts no questions asked since this is not going as planned.

Well, I got the manifold, bov, vacuum lines, oil lines in today. Still waiting on the turbo and wastegate, that was shipped separately.

All in all, I'll have 90% of it done by tonight. If the turbo still doesn't come in, I'll just have to bolt it up when I get it.

I'll get pics when the turbo manifold goes on. The BOV is a pita to get on, I'll have to redo the piping.

I understand. I was planning on driving to work sunday, but it looks like that might not happen, lol.

I have other means of transportation, but it's really going to set things back for a while. I sent you an email.

I had a question about the oil lines.

If you're having trouble seeing my bov from here, imagine trying to install it with hoses in the way and little more than an arms turn to work with. I'm not even 100% sure it's not going to pop off those elbows.

Vulcans supplier didn't even ship it until today, he got in their ass and they shipped it 2 day for me. I should have it sat.

Yeah, we'll see. I hope the spring in it isn't too strong, if so that's a likely outcome. You can always just replace the spring with a lower compression one so that it opens easier.

With that harness you are probably going to want to stress relive the solder joints so you don't build up stress over time due to vibrations and such and have one of those joints fail. Wouldn't want to loose connection merging onto a highway

Oh look, something's different! Manifold is on, after some slight boring of the stud holes.

I was going to put some heat shield over it, but it looked too damn pretty, lol.

Other than that, not too sure what else I'm going to do today. Maybe I'll tap the pan.

After putting the pan back you have to wait 24hrs for the silicone to cure, that's straight from gm, gl uses a special grey rtv on the pan, so I recommend u know that part out asap

Yeah, it looks at if I'm going to be selling my DP and just buying a stainless turbo back from vulcan.

Anyone want to buy a brand new zzp catless downpipe with less than 500 miles? It bolts up to factory or 2.5".

Haven't heard from vulcan yet, I hope to God my turbo and wastegate comes in tomorrow.

That sucks to you atleast have a o2 housing so u can drive the car? Good thing about my set up I can drive it with out a downpipe because the turbo has a o2 housing, so my stock and wideband are both in and I can atleast drive the carvaround while I wait for a dp to be made

Yeah, he said he didn't have any in stock. And, I can't wait a week or two to have one made.

Guess I'll have to tow it into a shop somewhere.
