Correct. The dump on the turbo is 2.5", so taking that drivers side and then going to weld it into my zzp dp.

so whats up are you done yet?

did you get the galley plug off yet?....i put an allen key on it...the long way so i could reach it from the top and then i put a wrench on the short end for some leaverage...took some pushing but it came off....with a loud pop...i thought i broke the allen key but it turns out that its just the sound they make when you take them off...good luck

Are you saying that they pop off? They aren't threaded bolts???

Damn If I knew that they just pop off I would have tried that in the first place. I thought you had to turn them.

The mechanic that came over yesterday ended up stripping another one, so I only got that one left on the back side of the block. I'll try again today when I get home.

Weld a nut to it, or weld the Allen socket into it!

Got a guy coming tomorrow morning to do just that. If that doesn't get it off I don't know what will, lol.

Hopefully build resumes tomorrow. Finishes actually.

o man stripped another...i know they are hard...but cmon, your the second guy i hear of having this kind of trouble...you need to use the right tools or you will just keep stripping them...well good luck...i guess welding a nut to it is a good idea...and if that dont work...time for an easy out kit

Waiting on the guy to get back, he's doing something right now.

I just found out that my dad is secretly one of those, "no replacement for displacement" guys. He was like, "I don't know why you're doing all this to a 4 cylinder. You should have got a old car and put a block in it...I know you're into all that Japanese zing zing ****...."

I had to take a step back and was like . ITS A CHEVY DAMN SHOW RESPECT!

with that amount of work.. the more appropriate statement .. is with that amount of money into it .... because a turbo setup generally doesn't run like 2-3k for a v8

The war is finally over. Many cuts and about $30 in tools later, and it finally came out.

To save others the trouble, in the future, remember a T-40 star bit works awesome!!!

Getting it all mounted tonight! Pics for realz this time....
