More progress today.
Wire wheeled the valves

Ground all the valves and found a couple bent ones. Cleaned the springs and retainers. Everything looking fresh!

Started to smooth out the combustion chamber. Also polishing all the combustion chambers to help reflect the heat into the cylinder. (+5hp)

Well since the cats out the bag...
I think i may be able to use the le5 head. If i dont have the solenoids plugged in then the cams should stay at zero phasing. So long as the intake cam sensor is the same as the 07+ L61 then it should work.
Anyone have any input on this?
