Finally cleaned up these rear seats, they were nasty. Covered in dirt, broken glass, and god knows what else...



Four years later finally getting the interior where i want it.



SS Recaros from an 06 LSJ

 

Looks nice! I recently purchases some lsj recaros but I need to take them somewhere to get them reupholstered

 

My rear seats are brand new I've prob cleaned them more times than they've been sat in

 

These were out of a car that was rolled so they were nasty af. I rented one of those carpet cleaner vacuums from menards and the dirty water bucket looked like someone took a **** in it when i was done cleaning the cloth on the recaros.

 

Luckily i could save mine. Do yours have tears in them? These only have like one ash burn on the drivers side.

 

No tears but the leather is worn pretty bad on driver side. And the mesh is stained a bit but I got them for a song so I couldn't resist, only 160$ for the fronts and backs together, even with me getting them reupholstered I should come out a bit ahead

 

Mine were stained really bad too but that carpet cleaner vacuum thingy did wonders.

 

I'm gonna have to try that next weekend

 

I didnt buy any of the carpet cleaning solution, i used straight vinegar. I would recommend dilluting it though. While he seats were out of my car i did the carpets with it too and my car reeks of vinegar now lol. Ive been reading that baking soda or activated charcoal will take the smell out though so i will be trying that.
