so im confused as ****

okay so yesterday i got the LSJ downpipe from a friend of mine, we were lookin at it and theres only 1 bung on it, but on MY downpipe i have 2. one right after where the header bolts to the downpipe, and one under my car right after the final bend in the dp. so does that mean i do NOT have one on my header? because he has one on his LSJ header and one on his downpipe.

you obviously did not read the post. MY downpipe ON MY CAR RIGHT NOW has 2 bungs. both of which are plugged. WITH an o2 sensor. his downpipe has 1 bung, leaving me with an EXTRA o2 sensor with nowhere to go

On the lsj there is one in the header and one in downpipe. You will need either a lsj header or add a 02 bung in the downpipe.

your Bank 1 and Bank 2 O2 Sensors are both in your dp. when you switch over to the lsj dp you will need to either add a bung to the lsj dp to accommodate for both your Bank 1 and Bank 2 or you will need to pick up a late model exhaust manifold that has the Bank 1 O2 Sensor bung placed before the dp flange. the late model exhaust can be found in 2.2 trim, lsj trim or the honed/extruded gmpp exhaust manifold. none of these are a true header, fyi.

i wasn't aware that any of the 2.2's had a o2 bung in the manifold. the 2.4's and 2.0's all have bungs in the manifold though

drill a hole, weld a bung in, done. Or don't go the cheap way and buy new stuff

late models did. you missed the fact that i own a '06 LT. the stock exhuast mani was the splitting image of the SS exhaust mani i picked up back in '07 only with smaller ports.
