Ss/sc Injectors In 2.2
LOL, that's a crock of ****! The computer CAN'T do that without tuning!
And I tried to put the 34#'s in the 2.2L Ecotec, and they DON'T FIT. I would like and explanation of how they got them in (it does look possible with a bit of modification), and how WaltDisney came back to life and Mickey Moused his ECU, because that "learning" business is a total crock! If you think the 2.2L ECU is smart, take a look at its tuning file. It's about as complicated as making Toast, dry toast.

correct it did correct it during idle but not at partial throttle or WOT
so it seems to work ok at idle but not anytime else...
also he has an 04 Ion which is more closely related to the 2.2 eco found in Cavaliers which is probably where your 2.2 harness is coming from.

im sorry but someone in a ion just proved you wrong the computer corrects the afr to the other injectors.. if you dont believe me than look at this

His car did not learn......it was just trying to come up for air.
Other than that he did a great write up, tons of pics. I can see that the injector swap will most likely fit in the 2.2L Cobalt and Ion, because the fuel rail is way different than the Cavy, sunfire.

common sense would tell you with tuning they would work, but unless you go piggy back on the 2.2 then you dont have tuning. And yes to much fuel will make your a/f ratio off depending on the oversize of the injector to stock and will affect performance
