I love the way the car is now...no PE delay so i get my power NOW rather than later...my shifts are sooo much smoother, they are hard and fast when i want them to be [not good for my tranny but i dont do it much]...the car just overall performs much better. Good perk is i get better gas mileage as well Today it was raining and couldnt get ANY traction when it shifted from first to second sooo, no hard shifts in rain anymore. haha.

when you get it it comes with a preloaded tune and once you load it up you run the car and test for any issues or soemthing you might want ex. redline mark. You report back to vince via email or phone and he makes adjustments and you load the new tuning fies with an SD card on the loader. So, YES, it is custom.

Also, yes it does bring a downfall for some that want to do thier tuning but you have to realize that you keep the tuner until you get what you want. Hes not gona ask for the tuner back if your only half way done or still have something that you want. So IMO just have a list of what you want done before ou order the tune. And just as a little hint, Vince is going to be trying something new later down the road to fix this. Its not to do your own tunes but somehting similar. Im not sure or know if I should say so when Vince is ready to announce it you will know.

Oh and does help ALOT if oyu haev access to a dyno or a datalogger. In my case I had a dashhawk which worked AMAZINGLY great in my situation. Especially with the 2.4TB swap because the Dashhawk allowed me to clear codes and do a crank case relearn. It also allowed me to see the different paameters as i was driving instead of having to log and go back and review. But its all in worth it because you guys will benefit later.

As far as a review mine went very well. I stayed in contact with daily. He emailed me constantly with questions to make sure everything is right. I've actually been in tuning for about 2-1/2 weeks but thats because i've been the tester for the 2.4L TB and auto tranny tune. Vince can now tune trannies to allow for better shift and shift points. Im getting my full moneys worth because Im running N2O and I have a tune that was custom made for my nitrous. A few more things have to be adjusted but we're almost done. I think the idea is great because it keeps cost of the tune down and still allows for a great tune. And the support staff and Vince are vey nice people and will work with you on almost any situation.

Have you dynoed? I suspect your TQ is plummeting by 7K. Just increasing your redline won't make it faster unfortunately.

however....if the 2.4 manifold is added...it will still produce power past 6500 both hp and tq...just throwing that out there...

Yay! Dead horse time!

I know that it makes power up to the 6500 redline. It even did it on mine. But if you look at the torque curves, by 7K you are way past what the stock cams were meant for. I was just pointing out that there is more than increasing the redline, even with a bigger IM.

yea that is true but i put the redline at 7000 cuz im installing the cams and pistons in my motor soon. just waiting for them to come in. and with ported heads.
i was doing the redline so i don't have to wait to get the programmer again and i was tired of the governor.

Anyone have problems with a code scanner working with the trifecta tune on there? The scanner we had at Autozone said Link Error multiple times.

I'm looking at getting a DashHawk and want to make sure it works.
