Tuning

Is it necessary to tune your car after every new installation? Mostly just curious to know if I have to tune my car after i've installed my intake, exhaust, header, pulley's and any other typical bolt-ons.

If the answer is yes, then is there any inexpensive way to do it myself that's pretty easy to do?

not exactly on your car you dont have to...sure its recomended, but the only way you should HAVE to retune everytime is if you drop or go up pully sizes!!
otherwise you can tune everytime you want more outta ur car with new performance mods....

also i would retune anytime you mess with an intake for any car...

it depends on what kind of tuning you want...

if your close to a company like trifecta then they can do it at their shop, some dyno places have hp tuners on hand, but your best bet is to not tune it yourself untill you actually learn about tuning! find someone on the site thats close to you that has access to tuning software and you need to start considering which tuning company you want to go with.....

like me, im a "trifecta" tuning dealer, i can give you a trifecta tune which is one of the most popular tuning companies out there for the cobalt right now...idk if im close to you or not tho lol there is also hp tuners like me around, byt tuning is on this site, smg motoring is here... thee are a few options so research the company you want the tune from that would best benifit your car and find someone with access to it
